😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡I don't know that I'm going to change my goals much this month. They seem to be working well, but I'm still struggling with a few minor things. The hiking goal is hard when it's so cold and yucky outside. I feel like I should be doing something, but I don't know what. I wish I had more money so that the goal could center around buying hiking gear. Maybe I should work on that.
Goal 1: getting outside (hiking) . . . In March I will save $20 towards hiking gear. That is such a small amount, but really I don't know with our current situation if I can do more than that. If I can I will. And I will keep my eyes peeled for an opportunity to go hiking with Damian.
Goal 2: yoga . . . In March I will do some sort of stretching 3 days a week for at least 10 min. and one week of 4 days.
This is working well. In February I even had a week of 4 days of stretching, so I'm going to add that as part of my goal. My leg, hip, and knee are all doing so much better with now 2 months of consistent stretching. I need to renew my last months massage goal and actually complete it, so I am also going to schedule a massage somewhere. I first need to find somewhere that will take my insurance. Maybe I need to call places in Everett where I work.
Goal 3: PR half and full marathons . . . I will run at least 3 times a week and with a day of speed work.
I am currently trying to prevent plantar faciitis from getting worse, so I don't feel like I can increase my running at this time. However, I do believe I need to start rolling and icing my foot religiously (right now I'm average once a week on really bad days). So . . . ice and roll 3 times a week.
Goal 4: healthy eating . . . I will eat a salad 2 times a week, cut back my afternoon coffee to 2 times a week. Wine on weekends and one day in the middle of the week.
I'm keeping this one. Maybe I need to change this one up, this will be the 3rd month I've had the same goal (although in February I added the wine component). This particular goal is to help me lose weight, and I am not losing weight. My weigh ins this month were consistently in the same range, even a little high one week. However, my belt was tightened today, but then it was tightened a month ago and then loosened again. Maybe next month I change it to staying in my calorie range 5 of 7 days (although I'm not usually out of my calorie range, and when I am, not far).
Speaking of calorie range . . . myfitnesspal . . . I had a streak of 868 days. That is 2 years, 4 months, and 10 days. And I missed a day. Just completely forgot. How do I completely forget after 2 years, 4 months, and 10 days?? I don't know, but I did. And I was furious. Mad. Angry. Frustrated. Annoyed. Sad. Very sad. Disappointed.
And as of today I'm on day 5.
