A busy August

A whole month with no posts, I haven't done that in forever. Also, my formatting is weird again, I don't know how to change it. I'm sorry! Last time it did this I couldn't add images either.
Well, that worked for you, I can't see it in editing mode though (which annoys me).

Are any of you using Bloglovin'? I haven't been able to get on it which means I can't read any of the blogs I follow. It's quite annoying. Anyway, August was very hectic. We finished up moving and cleaning our old place at the end of July. Then I spent the first week in August going to my Dad's house with a uhaul to help my sister move into my dad's house and grab my stuff from there (inherited stuff), came back to unload, and went straight back to my dad's the next day to help my sister paint her room. (I was voluntold by another sister I had to help, although I had no help from them). Then we went to the Lake the second week of August for our vacation. Which was nice, but definitely not long enough.
I realized that I tend to take pictures of the same thing over and over, so I quit taking pictures. Looking at what I did take, I don't have very many this year and I can't find any of me in my favorite spot in the morning with a coffee cup, or in the evening with a wine glass. I thought I did, but I can't find them, so you're stuck with a bunch of sunset pictures, with a few others.

The picture of my sister on my paddleboard was meant to capture her dog on the board. She was very reluctant to get on, but couldn't stand being so far from my sister. 🤣 After the hectic months of moving, and going to my Dad's to work there once a month, I am still feeling the affects of it. Although, that might also be because I have not been home for a weekend since July 30th. I was looking forward to one weekend at home, but then we found out before our vacation that Chris's Grandma died, so we had to go to her funeral the one weekend I had at home.

The last weekend in August I had to go back to eastern WA to help my sister paint her son's room and visit with my Mom's cousin, which was a lot of fun. Then Labor Day weekend I went on an overnight hike with some friends, and guess what? Next weekend I have to go back to eastern WA for Chris's sister's 40th birthday party. That will be 6 weekends in a row I was not home. This means that I still have a house full of boxes that hasn't been unpacked. Plus, it is time to start working on my garden so it (hopefully) will be less work next spring, but I haven't had time. I have so many plans, I just can't get them all done. 😔 I may have some time at the end of September to do things at home, but who knows.
