I know, I just posted yesterday, but I got on to look to see if anyone commented on my post from yesterday. (I used to get email notifications, but now I don't and don't know how to get them back.) Anyway, I didn't really expect a comment, but if I had one it would have been from
MaryFran because she's the one most likely to comment on my posts.
I was surprised to see a comment that wasn't from MaryFran.
Katie is the author of
RunsforCookies that I talk about all the time. I know, I know, she's not a celebrity, but I have been reading her blog for 8 years and I really feel like we are best friends . . . she just doesn't know it. 😆
I completely believe her reading my post from yesterday was a one time thing, which is fine. I just am excited that she commented. How silly is that? I believe she's normal and not a celebrity and would probably be uncomfortable with this whole post, but I really am surprised that she commented on my post.

When I got on to read, (Yup...I was just running behind in my reading) I was looking at the comment and was like...hey, that’s Katie ...I read her blog too. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think she read my most recent post (at the time) because I commented on one of her posts (the one where she laid out her July plans and was talking about deciding what type of porch to add onto her house). It was kinda the same feeling I think I'd get if I saw a celebrity. :-)

ReplyDeleteOhmygosh, I'm so embarrassed! (And humbled). If you met me in person, you'd realize I'm as normal as they come. I laughed so hard when my (now best friend) Thomas told me that he "squealed like a little girl" when he saw that I commented on his blog for the first time! (Now, he doesn't even blink when I tell him that I pooped three times before a race, hahaha)
ReplyDeleteThe truth is, when I notice that people comment frequently or when people say something particularly kind, I get curious and if they have a blog, I check it out. I appreciate you so much for reading my blog (although I can't imagine why you do--I have a pretty boring life!). But thank you for your kindness :)
