Checking in

 I was doing so well checking in here, and then I didn't post at all in April.  Well, I've been really frustrated with my weight movement, or lack of.  April I started at 168 and ended at 167, I mean, it's 1 lb and some would say that's amazing, but it has been so up and down, especially since I started and ended March at 167.

I've tried a couple different things, intermittent fasting was the one I tried the longest, and I realized a few weeks ago it just wasn't working well.  So I am not trying a new thing, I am eating a lot of protein. I also started a couple supplements that are supposed to boost metabolism.  I know that a lot of my issue is menopause, or perimenopause.  But I also drink too much, so I've also cut back on that (again).  

I have been trying to run more, but again, I am failing at that.  At one point I got up to 3x a week, but then I quit, and last week was once.  I also started a YouTube workout, Caroline Girvan, who does weights.  I am not great at doing it everyday, in fact, I think it's a been a week since I did one of the workouts.  

What else is going on?

I started my new job in the middle of April, in fact, yesterday was my 30 days there, It has been strange, but also, it feels like I never left my internship that I finished 2 1/2 years ago.  It has been extremely hard to be in an office (without windows) from 8:30-5.  I know that is a typical work day, but I have been used to a lot of freedom, and spent a lot of time outside of my office.

We have also been redoing our garden, it's been a long process especially since the rain just stopped and it was almost impossible to do the work I wanted to do with all the rain.
